WE'LL BE BACK - SAVE THE DATE FOR A FUN FILLED DAY FOR ALL THE FAMILY!

Another highly successful Rugby Spring Fair 2026!

Approximately 4,000 visitors came along to Whitehall Recreation Ground to enjoy a great day out at the Rugby Spring Fair on Bank Holiday Monday.

The Fair was formally opened by The Mayor of Rugby, Councillor Barabra Brown who was accompanied by the Presidents of the 3 Rotary Clubs in Rugby. The Rugby Round Table and 41 Club and the Rugby Heritage Lions and District representatives of the organisations.

There were queues all day long to see the free attractions in the Kidz Zone – including Wally the Clown, Face Painting and the opportunity to meet many exotic creatures and the bouncy castle which only charged £5 no matter how often the youngsters came to have a go!

The musical entertainment on the stage gave lots of local talent the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience. The show was opened by our very own Amie Boyd who was followed by performances by the Scutters, the Voice and Drama Academy, Lee and Dunk and Charlotte Traynor who are both past winners of Rugby’s Got Talent,  and the final act - singers from the Ukrainian Community.

The PTI arena was set out with tables and chairs for the audience to enjoy the performances on the stage and they could turn around to watch displays by Impact Dance , G-Force and the Crew Girls from Coventry!

The Bilton Silver Band played in the newly re-furbished band stand beside the arena!!

There were a huge variety of stalls including many local charities who had the opportunity to raise their profile and raise much needed funds. Novel fundraisers were the 29th Air Cadets squadron who had built a flight simulator to help raise funds for a new minibus and Hillmorton Juniors inflatable penalty shot at goal to raise money for their club.

Simon Maguire, the event manager, said “Thanks to our sponsors, Vets for Pets, Wates Construction, Bloor Homes, David Wilson Homes, Custom Heat, the Draycote Hotel and many advertisers we were able to provide lots more free attractions for the visitors to the Fair than we did last year and we have raised £12,000 for local charities. We are delighted to have received lots of positive feedback from the community.”

The Rugby Spring Fair is proudly supported and organised by the Rotary Clubs of Rugby, Rugby Lions, the Round Table and the 41 Club.
